If you’ve followed my blog for the last year (thank you!), you may recall a previous post about Moultrie First Presbyterian Church, and their mission to develop an official logo.
Since late summer 2011, I’ve been working with the dynamic duo of Richard Carr and Melody Jenkins, along with my allies at Zerflin, on a technology-rich new website for the church. It features LIVE Sunday worship webcasts fed by UStream, written- and video-based sermon archives, a confidential prayer request form, a sophisticated events calendar and registration system, Flickr-fed galleries, and links to a digital church directory, the church’s Facebook page and even the daily lectionary.
Top that off with a user-friendly content management interface that allows our friends at the church to update the site as desired, sans HTML know-how. The church’s new website now represents the vibrant and compassionate MacBook-wielding personalities behind it and the richness of their congregation.
It has been a delightful journey, and I am ecstatic to present to you this newly launched website. Please pay a visit to MoultrieFirstPres.com.
And prepare to be inspired.
